Spiral has been involved in the design, manufacture and distribution of medieval artefacts for over 20 years.

Organisations we have supplied include the National Trust, English Heritage, the Jorvic Centre, Arundel Castle, Rochester Castle, film studios, and numerous schools. We export to the USA, Japan, Australia and most countries in Europe.

We have made living history presentations at both primary and secondary schools as well as youth clubs and organizations. The proprietor of the business, Peter Balanck, has written about the medieval period and has had work published. He has dealt in genuine antiquities for many years and is often consulted to authenticate items. He holds an up to date GNAS Archery Leader teaching qualification. A strong tradition of school teaching also runs throughout his family!
