Born  in Greenwich, 24 December 1953.  Currently presenting history lectures and workshops in Public, Primary and Secondary schools, colleges and academies.Peter Balanck
Now lives in Rochester, Kent

Schools: Our Lady of Grace, Charlton and St Joseph’s Academy, Lee Green

Left school age age 18 to study, and ultimately deal, in medieval English hammered coins, ancient Roman and Greek coins and antiquities.
1970’s: Traded in The Arches Villiers Street London and opened a shop “The House of Tranquility” in Blackheath Village SE3
1980’s Opened shop “Beetle and Poker” dealing in medieval artifacts, jewellery and antique clocks and watches.
1990’s Opened shop “Spiral” in historic Rochester High Street – a tudor period building in which he now lives. Published four historical pathworking texts for a collection of musical CDs “Magical Encounters” “The Green Man” Lady of the Lake” “A Knight’s Destiny”
1993 Published  history of “The Green Man” a leading article for Prediction magazine, a Link House publication
2001 First Prize Winner of “Medway Small Business Award” sponsored by Lloyds TSB Business and Medway Council

From 2009 onwards trading under the name “Medieval Days” Peter Balanck has presented history sessions in over 200 schools covering the periods Ancient Celtic, Roman, Dark Ages, Saxon, Viking, Medieval, Tudor, Stuart and in 2015 World War 11 and is renowned for the quality and quantity of resources brought to the schools, both original ancient and reproduction artefacts. He also runs workshops under the names “School Roman Visit” “School Tudor Visit” and “School Viking Visit”
Ofsted  have described his workshops as “excellent” .

He has lectured and presented workshops at Framlington Castle, Ascot During Library, Milton Chantry, The Maidstone Leisure Trust and other council run Leisure Centres during school holidays,
